Your free initial consultation is a 30-minute call with Skyler to discuss your goals, timeline, and which services might be the best fit for your situation. There's no pressure — it's just a conversation.

The earlier the better. For undergrad, we recommend starting in 9th or 10th grade for comprehensive support, though we can begin working with students in 8th grade. For MBA, we recommend starting at least 6–9 months before your target application round.

Yes! We also have experience with students applying to PhD programs, medical school, law school, and other graduate degree programs.

At Adams Admissions Consulting, we combine highly personalized mentorship with real admissions experience from some of the nation’s most selective undergraduate and MBA programs. Our team includes former admissions officers and experienced admissions professionals who understand how applications are evaluated behind closed doors. We believe the strongest applications are built through authentic storytelling, strategic positioning, and long-term student development — not formulas or gimmicks. Every student we work with receives individualized guidance tailored to their goals, strengths, and interests.

Our process is highly collaborative and customized to each student. Depending on the package selected, students may receive support with academic planning, extracurricular strategy, school list development, essay brainstorming and editing, interview preparation, resume development, and overall application strategy. We work closely with students throughout the process to help them stay organized, reduce stress, and present the strongest possible application.

Every student works directly with Skyler. Depending on the package and student needs, students may also work with other experienced members of our team, including former admissions officers, essay editors, and subject-matter specialists. Our collaborative approach allows us to provide students with both individualized attention and specialized expertise throughout the admissions journey.

Not at all. While starting earlier can provide more time for long-term planning, many students begin working with us during their senior year and still achieve excellent outcomes. At that stage, the focus often shifts toward school list strategy, application positioning, essays, and maximizing the strength of the activities and experiences already developed.

Yes. We work with both domestic and international students applying to undergraduate, MBA, and graduate programs in the United States. Our team understands the unique considerations involved in international admissions, including curriculum context, extracurricular positioning, and the increased competitiveness of the international applicant pool.

Most meetings are conducted virtually, which allows us to work with students across the United States and internationally. Virtual meetings also provide greater scheduling flexibility for busy students and families. In-person meetings may be available in select situations depending on location and availability.

Yes! We understand that admissions consulting is a significant investment, and payment plans are available for many of our packages. We are happy to discuss options during your consultation to find a structure that works for your family.
